Essential Qualifications

Successful completion of a Bachelor of Law Degree (at time of appointment)
Eligible for articles pursuant to the rules of the Law Society of (Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba)

Proven academic experience

Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to analyze and evaluate legal problems

Good Judgement: Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and find appropriate solutions.
Effective Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to interact with various individuals: staff, colleagues, 'clients', officials of government departments. Demonstrated ability to develop respect, mutual understanding, and productive working relationships. Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing member of a team.
Initiative: Responds with innovative approaches to deal with the demands of changing conditions.
Dependability: Demonstrated regular and punctual attendance. Completes assignments and work in established timeframes.
