FIGURE 7 - PERCENTAGE OF YJCS INDICATING THAT VICTIMS ATTEND "A LOT" OR "ALMOST ALL THE TIME
Figure 7 is a horizontal bar graph that illustrates the percentage of YJCs contacted who indicated that victims attend hearings either "a lot", "all the time", or "almost all the time". The x-axis indicates the percentage of YJCs who responded in this manner, ranging from 0 − 100%. The y-axis lists the jurisdictions: Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Newfoundland, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
The results show that that Saskatchewan has the highest percentage of YJCs with routine victim attendance (100%), followed by Ontario (about 46%), Newfoundland (about 37%), Manitoba (about 17%) and Alberta (about 5%). The remaining jurisdictions (Northwest Territories and Nunavut) indicated routine victim participation 0% of the time.
