This pie chart is divided into three categories, which stand for each type of offence. The three categories are as follows: “Drugs/Other Criminal Code/Federal/Provincial Statute”, “Person” and “Property”.

  • 53% of Atlantic Region Aboriginal youth in open and secure custody committed a persons offence
  • 41% of Atlantic Region Aboriginal youth in open and secure custody committed a property offence
  • 6% of Atlantic Region Aboriginal youth in open and secure custody committed a drugs/other criminal code/federal/provincial statute offence
