This is a pie chart which illustrates where the Atlantic Region youth included in the Snapshot spent most of their time during the two years before their custody.

This pie chart is divided into four categories, which stand for each location: doesn’t know/other, aboriginal reserve, town, Inuit community.

  • 36% of Atlantic Region youth included in the snapshot lived on a reserve
  • 32% of Atlantic Region youth included in the snapshot lived in an Inuit community
  • 27% of Atlantic Region youth included in the snapshot lived in a town
  • 5% of Atlantic Region youth included in the snapshot doesn’t know/other
