This is a pie chart which illustrates where the Ontario youth included in the Snapshot spent most of their time during the two years before their custody.

This pie chart is divided into four categories, which stand for each location: city, town, doesn’t know/other and aboriginal reserve.

  • 31% of Ontario youth included in the snapshot lived on a reserve
  • 63% of Ontario youth included in the snapshot lived in a city
  • 14% of Ontario Region youth included in the snapshot lived in a town
  • 2% of Ontario Region youth included in the snapshot didn’t know or lived in an other location
