This pie chart is divided into five categories, which stand for each location: city, town, don’t know/other, Inuit community and aboriginal reserve.

  • 64% of Alberta Aboriginal youth committed or allegedly committed the offence for their current admission in a city
  • 9% of Alberta Aboriginal youth committed or allegedly committed the offence for their current admission on an Aboriginal reserve
  • 34% of Alberta Aboriginal youth committed or allegedly committed the offence for their current admission in a town
  • 2% of Alberta Aboriginal youth committed or allegedly committed the offence for their current admission in an unknown/other location
  • 1% of Alberta Aboriginal youth committed or allegedly committed the offence for their current admission in an Inuit community
