Figure 4 is a horizontal bar chart which illustrates the distribution of effect size estimates for victim satisfaction.

The Y axis measures the effect size in increments of 0.10 from -0.30 to 0.49.

The X axis is divided by 13 categories which represent the number of effect sizes: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.

For recidivism:

  • 1 program had an effect size of -0.30 to -0.21.
  • 1 program had an effect size of .30 to .39.
  • 2 programs had an effect size of -0.20 to -0.11.
  • 3 programs had an effect size of 0.20 to 0.29.
  • 6 programs had an effect size of -0.10 to -0.01.
  • 9 programs had an effect size of 0.10 to 0.19.
  • 10 programs had an effect size of 0.0 to 0.9.
