Purpose: The Recipient proposes to produce multilingual information and tools for immigrant youth involved in the justice system and those at risk of gang involvement and their parents to enhance access to justice and educate them on the dangers of gang involvement. Information will be produced about available justice services through fact sheets, a pamphlet and cards. Youth will also be provided with information about the court process. A video on how to resist gangs will be produced and forums will to be held for youth on how to "make smart choices". Training seminars will also be conducted for immigrant settlement workers who work with youth on how to avoid gang involvement and exit gangs. The Recipient also proposes to hold community workshops on Youth and Gangs.
