Purpose: The Recipient proposes to develop and implement a program for young women coming out of custody who have been diagnosed with FASD, or who are suspected of living with FASD and who are involved in, or vulnerable to, gangs. The objectives of the program are to improve communication, life and social skills; improve employability through pre-employment and work experience; and, promote and improve healthy life-style choices. An evaluation will be conducted over the course of the project and will use qualitative and quantitative approaches to assess the degree to which the project met the objectives.
